On June 13th we were supposed to have an Indie Midlands show headlined by Bryony Williams with support from Graywave & Quentin Francis. Despite the gig being sold out, we were informed three days before the event that we would have to cancel the gig because the venue instead wanted to show all the day’s action from Euro 2020.

Down, but not out, we decided the show must go on in some form. Armed with the knowledge that the weather was set to be very nice on the 13th, we decided we would all head over to Bryony Williams’ and have a little gig in her garden which we would call Gardenbury and stream live for free. We also added Alice Bloor from Five O Fives to the lineup.

With a number of artists & friends from Indie Midlands in attendance, as well as a few other lucky people, we had a nice little crowd. It was a very enjoyable day, nothing was taken too seriously and everyone enjoyed quite a few beers. Below you can enjoy the stream, although Alice’s set is not shown due to some original technical issues to begin with.

You can also enjoy a selection of photos from the day. We completely forgot Alice had brought her camera along until after both she and Graywave had perfomed, hence no photos of them. As I previously mentioned, we’d all enjoyed quite a few beers…

Livestream here.
