’10:30′ is the new single from Bishop’s Stortford-based Hyde Away. A sprightly indie rock track to get you on your feet and singing along.
Catchy and full of melody, the quartet aren’t re-inventing the wheel here, it’s nothing that we’ve not heard before from modern-day guitar bands, but it’s done well and it’s a song that will worm it’s way inside your head and stay there. The lead guitar hook is a particular delight, as are the sing-along backing vocals on the chorus.
Talking about the track the band had the following to say:
“The song was written the morning after a night out in about 15 minutes. I was thinking about a girl I saw who was constantly on her phone whilst she was on a date with her boyfriend.“
